Our Holy Days Festivals Calendar

Four Invitations — One for Every Season

Yahweh’s Holy Days follow the seasons of the year, from the first spring harvest to the last autumn feast. So we have written an invitation for each season. Start with the season you are in now — or listen to all four, in any order you like.

  • Spring — “Two Kinds of Freedom.” Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread, usually in March or April. Chocolate bunnies, or the oldest celebration of freedom in the world? ▶ Listen · Read it

  • Early Summer — “The Teacher Within.” Pentecost, fifty days later, usually in May or June. A sermon bought by subscription, or the best Teacher there is? ▶ Listen · Read it

  • Autumn — “Two Ways to Keep a Holy Day.” Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles and the Last Great Day, usually in September or October. Hard pews, or a week of joy with other families? ▶ Listen · Read it

  • All Year Round — “Two Wallets.” The Festival Tithe: how a family saves through the year for its own celebrations, and for the poor. An envelope in the plate, or a table full of food? ▶ Listen · Read it

Each one asks the same small question: which would you rather? Then it shows you what Scripture actually says, and leaves the choice to you.

The Faithful Remnant

Annual Holy Days and Festivals

Calendar for the Years 2026 to 2051

(Hebrew Years 5786 to 5812)

One page for each year, preceded by a summary of all years at a glance.

Holy Days Calendar

Yahweh gave His people seven annual Holy Days, set out in Leviticus 23: Passover, Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles and the Last Great Day. Together they lay out Yahweh’s plan for mankind, from the Messiah’s sacrifice to the final judgment.

This calendar gives the dates of the Holy Days for every year from 2026 to 2051, on both the Hebrew calendar and the Roman (Gregorian) calendar we use from day to day.

How to read the dates

  • Each Hebrew day begins at sunset on the evening before the Roman date shown.
  • Passover is observed the previous evening, after sunset.
  • The Feast of Trumpets is also the First Day of the Sacred Year.
  • The Feast of Unleavened Bread and the Feast of Tabernacles each continue for seven days.

Spring — “Two Kinds of Freedom.”

Picture two springtimes.

In the first, the stores fill up with chocolate bunnies and plastic eggs. The family buys new spring outfits they can't really afford, and squeezes into a crowded church for the one Sunday of the year when everyone shows up. The sermon is about sin. Lots of sin. Your sin. Everyone leaves feeling a little worse about themselves than when they came in — which is useful, because a guilty conscience brings people back next week, wallet in hand.

Ask the children what eggs and rabbits have to do with the Messiah, and you'll get a shrug. Ask the adults, and you'll get the same shrug, only taller.

In the second springtime, a family sits down together on the evening of Passover. Bread is broken. The cup is shared. They remember the night Yahweh brought His people out of slavery in Egypt — and the day His own Son gave His life so that we could be set free from something far heavier.

Then comes a week the children actually look forward to: the Days of Unleavened Bread. The week before, everyone hunts through the house — the cupboards, the car, the coat pockets — for every last crumb of yeast. It's part treasure hunt, part spring cleaning, and every crumb tells a story: little by little, with Yahweh's help, we clear the old habits out of our lives too. Then come seven days of flat bread and fresh beginnings, two joyful gatherings with other families, and plenty of time to talk about what it all means.

So — which spring sounds more like freedom?

Freedom is the whole point.

The Bible never mentions Easter. (The single place the word appears, in the King James Version, is a mistranslation of "Passover.") But it speaks of Passover again and again. Yah'shua kept it as a boy and as a man. The apostle Paul told the believers in Corinth, "the Messiah, our Passover, was sacrificed for us… Therefore let us keep the feast" (First Corinthians, chapter 5, verses 7 to 8).

And here is the part that surprises people most. Passover isn't meant to leave you feeling guilty. It is meant to set you free from guilt. Scripture says the Messiah's sacrifice can "purge your conscience" (Hebrews, chapter 9, verse 14), so that we live with hearts "made free from the sense of sin" (Hebrews, chapter 10, verse 22). Once Yahweh has forgiven something, we are not meant to keep carrying it around.

No one needs to be paid to hand you that forgiveness, either. Our only part is to believe, repent and ask.

And the feast is already paid for.

Every household sets aside its own Festival Tithe through the year — a tenth of its increase (not of its income) — to spend on its own family's celebration, "and you shall rejoice, you and your household" (Deuteronomy, chapter 14, verse 26). Not on a building. Not on a salary. On you, and on the poor among you.

Here is our challenge.

This spring, try the comparison. Read our article on Yahweh's Holy Days. Look up Passover on our calendar. Sweep out the leaven with your children, and watch what happens when they start asking why.

No guilt. No pressure. No collection plate. Just the oldest celebration of freedom in the world — and the best news it carries.

Come out of Egypt. Come and celebrate.

Early Summer — “The Teacher Within.”

Picture two teachers.

The first one stands at the front of a large room, in a long robe, behind a tall pulpit. He trained for years to do this, and he is paid to do it every week. Today's sermon came from a service that sells sermons by subscription. He reads it well. When someone asks him afterward what one of the verses really meant, he smiles kindly and says some things are simply mysteries — best left to those trained to handle them.

The second teacher doesn't stand at the front of anything. There is no robe, no pulpit and no pay. This Teacher is already living inside you.

Yahweh has planted His word in every heart that will receive it — "the implanted word, which is able to save your souls" (James, chapter 1, verse 21). And He has given His Holy Spirit, His own power at work in us, as our Helper. That Teacher is with you at the kitchen table on a Tuesday night, on a long walk, with an open Bible on your lap at two in the morning. It never charges a fee. It never tells you to stop asking.

So — which teacher would you rather learn from?

It started with ordinary people.

Pentecost is the feast that shows this happening. Fifty days after Passover — a countdown families can keep together, week by week — about 120 ordinary believers were gathered in one place. Fishermen. Tax collectors. Working people. "And they were all filled with His Holy Spirit" (Acts, chapter 2, verse 4).

They had no seminary degrees. Yet within a few years, people said these same believers were "turning the world upside down" (Acts, chapter 17, verse 6). That's what Yahweh's Spirit does. Paul described it as a spirit "of power and of love and of a sound mind" (Second Timothy, chapter 1, verse 7).

Yah'shua said it plainly: "One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brethren" (Matthew, chapter 23, verse 8). That's why we have no pastors, priests or reverends. Nobody stands between you and your Creator. We study at our own pace and in our own time — on our own, as families, or together with other families, each one sharing what Yahweh has shown us and helping the others along.

A harvest feast, and a happy one.

Pentecost is also called the Feast of Harvest, celebrating the first grain of the year. Families gather, share good food, and give thanks — paid for by the Festival Tithe each household sets aside for its own celebrations, "and you shall rejoice, you and your household" (Deuteronomy, chapter 14, verse 26).

Here is our challenge.

Open your Bible — your own Bible — and read Acts chapter 2. Ask Yahweh to help you understand it. Then read our article on the Holy Days and see whether it agrees with what you found. You may be surprised by how much you already know, deep down, once you start listening.

No guilt. No pressure. No collection plate. Just the best Teacher there is, and a feast to celebrate it.

Come and learn. Better yet — come and celebrate.

Autumn — “Two Ways to Keep a Holy Day.”

Picture two families.

The first family's alarm goes off early on Sunday morning. Out come the stiff collars and the shoes that pinch. Everyone is hurried into the car, reminded to behave, and lined up on a hard wooden pew. For the next hour they sit quietly through a sermon nobody quite follows — and nobody is allowed to question.

Then the collection plate comes down the row, and with it that familiar feeling. Everyone watching. Everyone measuring. Everyone wondering whether they gave enough.

On the drive home, nobody mentions the sermon. But somebody mentions whose dress cost more, and whose car is newer. And from the back seat, a small voice asks what everyone is thinking: "Do we have to go again next week?"

The second family is getting ready for the Feast of Tabernacles. The children have been counting down the days for weeks. Dad is checking the route, Mom is packing the cooler, and there is money set aside — real money, saved throughout the year — for good food, a place to stay, and a few treats everyone has been looking forward to.

When they arrive, other families are already there. There is laughter, long meals, games, walks and music. And in between, something far better than a lecture: real conversation about the most astonishing plan ever written — our Creator's plan to offer eternal life to every man, woman and child who has ever lived. Questions are welcome. The children ask them too. And nobody passes a plate.

So — which family would you rather be?

It isn't a trick question.

The second family isn't dreaming. They are simply doing what the Bible actually says.

Yahweh gave His people seven annual Holy Days, spread through the year, each one revealing another step in His plan for mankind. He never called them dreary duties. He called them feasts. When the people in Nehemiah's day wept, they were told: "Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet… Do not sorrow, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength" (Nehemiah, chapter 8, verse 10).

And Yahweh made sure every family could afford to come. Each household was to set aside a tenth of its increase (not of its income) — a Festival Tithe — not for a preacher, and not for an ornate building, but to spend at the feast "for whatever your heart desires… and you shall rejoice, you and your household" (Deuteronomy, chapter 14, verse 26). And every third year, an additional tithe was set aside to feed the poor, the widow and the fatherless, so that they could celebrate too.

Read that again. The tithe was meant for your family's celebration — and for the poor. Never for anyone's salary.

And who does the teaching?

The very best Teacher there is. Yahweh has planted His word inside you — "the implanted word, which is able to save your souls" (James, chapter 1, verse 21) — and He has given you His Holy Spirit as your Helper. So you learn at your own pace, in your own home, in your own time. Dressed up or dressed down. On your own, as a family, or together with other families, each one helping the others along.

"One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brethren" (Matthew, chapter 23, verse 8). That is why we have no pastors, priests or reverends — and why nothing we offer will ever cost you a cent.

Here is our challenge.

Try the comparison for yourself. Read one of our articles. Open your own Bible and check it. Look at the next Holy Day on our calendar and imagine your family keeping it — with your own Festival Tithe in your pocket. Then decide which way of life looks more like freedom.

No guilt. No pressure. No collection plate. Just joyful learning — and even more joyful celebration of the one plan that truly matters: our Creator's plan for your eternal life.

Come and see. Better yet — come and celebrate.

All Year Round — “Two Wallets.”

Follow two wallets for a year.

Both families earn about the same. Both have been told to give a tenth. Let's see where each tenth goes.

The first family's tenth goes into an envelope every Sunday morning, and the envelope goes into the plate — with the whole row watching. By December it has helped pay the minister's salary, a new carpet for the church lobby, and the mortgage on a building that sits empty six days a week. And at home? There's no money left for a family holiday this year. Again. Maybe next year.

The second family's tenth goes somewhere else entirely: into the family's own festival fund, a little at a time, all year long. The children help count it. They know exactly what it's for.

When autumn comes, that fund takes the whole family to the Feast of Tabernacles — a full week together with other families. Good food, comfortable lodging, games, music, long walks and long talks about Yahweh's plan for mankind. Grandparents come along. Nobody is left out because they couldn't afford it.

And every third year, that family's tenth does something else again: it goes to feed the widows, the fatherless and the strangers in their own community, so that they "may come and eat and be satisfied" (Deuteronomy, chapter 14, verse 29).

So — which wallet is doing Yahweh's work?

Read it for yourself.

Most people have never been shown the one place in the Bible where Yahweh explains what the tithe is for. It's in Deuteronomy chapter 14. A family was to set aside a tenth of its increase (not of its income), take it to the feast, and spend it "for whatever your heart desires… and you shall rejoice, you and your household" (Deuteronomy, chapter 14, verse 26).

Not for a preacher's salary. Not for an ornate building. For your family's joy, and for the poor.

The apostle Paul, the greatest teacher of the early Congregation, wouldn't take a cent for teaching. He worked with his own hands so he could offer the good news "without charge" (First Corinthians, chapter 9, verse 18). And he reminded everyone that "it is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts, chapter 20, verse 35). We follow his example. Everything we offer is free, and everyone who helps does so as an unpaid volunteer.

Imagine what that would mean.

Picture every family in the country keeping its own Festival Tithe for its own Holy Day celebrations, and every third year setting aside another tenth of your increase for the poor nearby. Families would be able to afford to celebrate. Neighbourhoods would look after their own. That is exactly what Yahweh designed it to do.

Here is our challenge.

Take out a pencil and a piece of paper. Write down what a tenth of your family's increase (not of its income) was last year. Then write down where it went. Now imagine that same amount spent on a week of joy with your family — and on a full table for those who have nothing.

No guilt. No pressure. No collection plate. Just Yahweh's own plan for your family's money: joyful, generous, and nobody's salary.

Keep your Festival Tithe. Come and celebrate.
