The TFR Theology Masters Curriculum

An ordered course of Bible study through the teachings of The Faithful Remnant: 80 courses in 14 modules, beginning with the foundations of faith and ending with a comparative study of the main Christian and Jewish traditions.

Each course is built on one of our articles, with a short quick-review outline to guide your study. You study at your own pace, from home, one course at a time.

Before Course 1, you may like to read Our Teaching Foundation: the one starting point every course rests on.

The curriculum is free to members. Simply sign in as a member to enrol.

It is free in full, and it always will be. Paid Bible courses elsewhere typically cost about US$45 a course. If you would like to, you may give all or part of that for any course you complete, as a freewill offering. It is appreciated, never expected, and it changes nothing about your studies. After the bare cost of keeping this site online, everything given goes to helping people in need. Give a freewill offering

How it works

  • Become a member. Membership is free. When you join you receive your own TFR Membership Number.
  • Enrol. Once you are signed in as a member, select “Enrol” and Course 1 opens for you straight away.
  • Study the course. Read the article and its quick-review outline, and look up the Scriptures it cites. Take as long as you need.
  • Ask for the examination. When you have finished studying, select “I have finished — take the examination.” The examination for that course opens.
  • Complete and submit the examination. It is marked automatically. When you pass, the next course opens for you. If you do not pass the first time, review the course and try again.
  • Graduate. When you complete all 80 courses, you receive the TFR Theology Masters Graduation Certificate, issued in your name and sent to you automatically.

What the Graduation Certificate means

The TFR Theology Masters Curriculum is a course of Bible study offered by The Faithful Remnant. Its one Graduation Certificate, awarded when all 80 courses are complete, recognises that you have finished the whole curriculum. It is not an academic degree, and it is not accredited by any college, university or government body. It is issued in recognition of your own diligence, as witnessed by your own conscience. No one signs it on behalf of The Faithful Remnant, and it confers no office or authority in Yahweh’s Congregation.

How to read the course labels

Beside each course you will find a few short labels, so you know what to expect before you begin.

  • Short, Standard, Extended, Comprehensive: how long the course reading is — from under 1,500 words to more than 8,000.
  • About … minutes: roughly how long it takes to read the course article once, not counting time spent with your Bible or on the examination.
  • Bible at hand: the course cites Scripture often and is best studied with your Bible open. Members receive the NFRV Bible free.
  • In 2 Parts: the course has two parts, studied one after the other.
  • Foundational: a key teaching that later courses build on.
  • Companion: best studied alongside the course named.
  • Word study: looks closely at the original Hebrew or Greek words.
  • Reflective: a quieter, more meditative study.
  • Personal testimony: written from the author’s own experience.
  • Discernment study: a lesson in weighing a source critically, rather than a statement of our beliefs.
  • For discussion: offered for discussion rather than as a TFR position.
  • Capstone: the closing course of the curriculum.
